Najzgodnejši cikel »Spominski fetiši« — slaščice, čokoladice in »prepovedani« fetiši kot sta cigareta in kava — išče poti do potlačenih občutij iz otroštva. Slike spregovorijo o erupciji oralnega užitka ter o posameznih podobah kot reprezentacijah želje v vseh njenih razsežnostih, obenem pa ironizirajo sodobni blagovni fetišizem.

The earliest cycle, “Memory Fetishes” — sweets, chocolates, and “forbidden” fetishes such as cigarettes and coffee — searches for paths back to repressed childhood sensations. The paintings speak of an eruption of oral pleasure and of individual images as representations of desire in all its dimensions, while at the same time taking an ironic stance toward contemporary commodity fetishism.
